CLS SPONSORS COMPUTERS TO MEADOWLANDS SECONDARY

 

Contract Laboratory Services (CLS) was established as a joint venture between the National Health Laboratory Service (NHLS) and the Wits Health Consortium (WHC). CLS is a specialised accredited clinical trial laboratory located in three major cities in South Africa. The central laboratory is situated in Braamfontein, Johannesburg and laboratories in Overport, Durban and Greenpoint Cape Town.

MEC FOR SPORTS AND RECREATION VISITS MEADOWLANDS SECONDARY

The MEC for Sport and Recreation, Mr. Amichand Rajbansi is poses with the learners of Meadowlands Secondary who have done the school proud in the sports arena. The learners from different grades were recognised during a special farewell function to the matriculants attended by the MEC. Accompanying Mr. Rajbansi was Councilor Anandan Naidoo (2nd from left) and Mr. Mr. Prem Vayapuri a Director in the Department who is responsible for junior sport (3rd from right). With them also is the principal and staff of Meadowlands Secondary.

The MEC for Sport and Recreation, Mr. Amichand Rajbansi is wishing all the matriculants wellin the examinations starting this week.

The MEC conveyed his message of good luck when he attended a farewell function for Grade 12 learners of Meadowlands Secondary School in Chatsworth. In his motivation to the learners Mr. Rajbansi said they will be rewarded for as long as they have identified their goals and worked hard to achieve them.

The MEC urged learners to choose their careers carefully especially focusing on the scarce skills required by the country. He alerted them to the fact that the government has 800 000 vacancies wherein it cannot find suitably qualified South Africans to fill them
